Here is the final poster I intend to hand in for submission.
I decided to ditch the acetate idea as the photography was poor and the message never communicated well. I wanted to represent apples changes thoroughout the years but also how they make everything simple. I thought the only way to communicate this was resorting back to the layers of mac vectors. I think this works better than previous designs as they show the simplicity of apple and nice, sharp , clean lines.
