Colour.

As mentionted in the previous post, I didn't feel like there was enough atention of colour. We are after all, promoting Fredrigoni's colour selection tool. I've since revisted the bird vector and added more colours.

I started off by taking advantage of the fact that the bird was made up of individual triangles and coloured them different colours. The colour was a random choice as I wanted to communicate the creative freedom you can have with colours. It sounded like a solid thought in my head but ended up looking abit too random and quite juvenile.

Using a colour wheel seemed a more appropriate and subtle way of communicating colour. In the last design it was very random and felt juvenile and touching on patronizing. Incorporating the aspects of a colour wheel in the design adds intelligence and sophistication and also adds subtlety due to the bleed from primary to secondry colours with tertiary colours in between.
