I went into town today and bought a 5set of blank cardboard cd/dvd cases. I definitely didn't wish to work with a traditional format. I wanted my packaging to be consistent with my sequences and communicate clearly what tone of voice I was going for.
I then (very crudely) opened out the net to see how it worked. It turned out to be a very simple fold and tab job with some slots in between. This packaging seems to be a bit slim so I may need to adjust it to fit a cd and a picture book.
