I'm really intreiged to try this effect out in after effects

To achieve this effect, I first uploaded the before and after photos into after effects
the aftermath
I then dragged them into the timeline.
I created a new mask using the layer option like so -
I then moved the mask to the left of the screen
added a position keyframe in the mask
and moved the mask back over the photo and added another keyframe to complete the effect.
