TYPE WITH GRAHAM


Today we had a type session with Graham. Before this session I considered myself to be passionate about type but I soon realised there was a lot I didn't know even though some of the stuff I thought I never knew - I DID. For example -Why is the point size on a page of a magazine bigger than that on a page of a novel? Because we read magazines further from our eyes than novels.


We all decided that TYPE is "speech visualised"or "Spoken word"
So with that in mind, Graham gave the group an exercise.
Type out your name in a typeface that communicates who you are.
This was my result -

I chose a light Gill Sans typeface as I don't consider myself to be a loud bold typeface like
