VISUAL LANGUAGE

communication.

stop
extend

This session we had to communicate the words stop and extend using just bits of type. In this case 'the letter A".

For STOP, I decided to represent something slowing down and eventually stopping. I think it communicates well.

For extend I looked at the anatomy of the character and took it apart and stretching out the serifs, communicating the word - extend. I chose a serif typeface as I felt like I could take advantage of the serifs to communicate this word.
