Progress tutorial.

Today's tutorial with Phil went really well. It was the first time I had spoken to Phil about my work so it was interesting to speak to someone with a fresh eye to my ideas. He loved the Atheist posters
and think they worked well the only thing that concerned him was that there was nothing to link everything together.

He suggested I design a symbol. Although there seems to be an obvious theme to the posters, a symbol would make them more collectible.

I asked how I could extend the range rather just having posters  and postcards. We came up with a few suggestions -

Xmas cards
Calendars (Dawkins could be Jan, Gervais Feb and so on)
Tote bags

Darrell Viner brief,

Again a very positive response from Phil. He liked the fact I had one brief which had humour and
another which was quite serious. We both agreed that the logo worked really well and was a solid concept. We discussed what elements of Viner's work I could include within the exhibition itself. Viner worked with interaction so that was an important element of the exhibition.

He thought the logo lended itself well to 3D application and asked how I could make it 3D/ interactive.

He suggested -

Projection of 3d logo
3d model of logo
Use wire to create interesting shapes
