Starting to design the visuals for the posters for the exhibition. For the initial ideas, I chose to use the Inside/outside piece because it lends itself to a pattern quite well. I've experimented with the scale and arrangement of the Drawing.
Using an A3 portrait format, I've transfered the designs over to the computer.
I started with the basic design of having the single piece of work centered on the page with the artist's name and exhibition title at the bottom of the page.
I've since tried different arrangements and scales of the drawing to see which works best. The bottom two are a proposed front and back design.
In some of the posters I've included the Logo mark along with the type but they don't seem to work because of the clashing of the patters. I've tried to resolve this by having the last design be a double sided one. This design would work best as a postcard as you won't be able to see the back of the poster as it will be on the wall.
